At the WBFI, we take pride in fostering the growth of the wild bird feeding hobby and connecting people to nature. A cornerstone of this mission is our Quality Standards Program (QSP), which establishes the best practices for seed and feeder products. These standards are designed to protect both consumers and birds, ensuring that WBFI members set the “gold standard” in the industry. Maintaining the value and relevance of this program depends on collaboration—and that’s where you come in!
WBFI's Quality Standards help to create a consistent, positive experience for consumers. But as the industry evolves, so too must our standards- that's why member feedback is crucial. The insight from our valued flock helps shape the guidelines that influence the products on the market, making sure they meet both consumer expectations and the needs of the birds we all cherish.
Simply put: well-crafted standards help build trust, which drives consumer confidence and boosts industry growth.
We’re currently calling on WBFI members to review and provide feedback on our 2024 Quality Standards Policy Handbook to help us refine existing standards and develop new ones that will serve the industry for years to come. This is your chance to help shape the future of wild bird feeding!

- Review the document and submit feedback by October 15, 2024.
