2024 WBFI Member Awards: Celebrating 40 Years of Dedication
WBFI is thrilled to kickoff the 2024 WBFI Member Awards Program! This year, we're not only recognizing outstanding contributions to wild bird feeding but also celebrating our members who have been with us for over four decades as we celebrate our 40th anniversary.
Our awards program shines a spotlight on the individuals, products, and retailers that embody our mission to grow the wild bird feeding hobby. Whether it's innovative birding products, nourishing bird food, or retailers who excel in customer engagement, we want to recognize the best in our community.
Here are the categories for 2024 Awards:
Birding Product of the Year
- Birding Product of the Year: Celebrating exceptional non-food birding products that enhance the wild bird feeding experience, from groundbreaking feeders to innovative birding apps.
Bird Food Product of the Year
- Acknowledging nutritious and popular bird food products that keep our feathered friends healthy and delight our community.
Retailer of the Year
- Honoring retailers who actively engage with their local communities and provide top-notch bird feeding supplies and support.
Nominations are open from August 6th to September 15th, 2024. Here's how to get involved:
- Eligibility: Nominees for awards must be active WBFI members in good standing.
- Self-Nominations: Yes, self-nominations are welcome.
- Co-Nominators: Collaborative nominations are allowed, with one primary and one co-nominator.
- Multiple Nominations: Feel free to nominate for multiple awards.
Mark Your Calendar: Key Dates
- August 6 – September 16, 2024: Open call for Applications/Nominations
- September 16, 2024, 11:59 PM EDT: Deadline to submit Applications/Nominations. No late submissions will be accepted.
- September 17-29, 2024: Judging period
- October 6, 2024: Award winners notified
- November 14, 2024: Awards Ceremony at the WBFI Annual Meeting in Charleston, SC (MORE INFO HERE)
